On Saturday, February 10th, joining Grand Raggidy on the court all the way from Ontario, Canada will be the Orangeville Roller Girls All Stars Misfit Militia and Pulp Affliction.
Kicking the night off with a bang, Grand Raggidy’s All Stars and Orangeville’s Misfit Militia will be taking the track first. These two teams have never had the pleasure of facing one another, but that changes now. The statistics say that Orangeville has an 83% chance of laying the smackdown on our All Stars, and this is backed up by their recent six-win streak. We know our All Stars, and they are up for the challenge! You better be ready to get up out of your seat because this game will have you on the edge of it. Saving the best for last, Grand Raggidy’s Attack! will finish out the night by going up against Orangeville’s Pulp Affliction. Orangeville’s B-team is up to par with their A in that they have a 92% chance of going home victorious from this game. Then again, these two teams have never played one another either so it’s all up to how things roll on the track. Will Grand Raggidy be the triumphant underdog? Or will Orangeville add to their winning streak? You’ll have to be there to see.
This year will be the 7th Annual Experience Pink event. Grand Raggidy is proud to be a sponsor of the Experience Pink initiative founded by Susan G. Komen. What is Experience Pink? It’s an event that both celebrates survivors of breast cancer as well as provides a way to donate towards research and prevention. 75% of the money raised this evening will go towards providing assistance for women in West Michigan who are suffering from breast cancer. Beyond that the the funds go towards researching a cure, providing mammograms to those who cannot afford it, and educating the public. There will be an Experience Pink booth at the game that will be taking contributions for the cause. Additionally, our track will be colored pink in support. Come sporting your sassiest pink attire!
And of course, there will be an after party at the Rezervoir Lounge where you can join players from both teams to close out the evening with a bang!
Tickets to the event are $12 in advance or $15 at the door. Discounts for kids, students & seniors are available. Advanced tickets can also be purchased at https://www.brownpapertickets.com/event/3219908
Doors open at 5 p.m. and the action starts at 5:30 p.m. Get there early to get a seat right up front!
