Grand Raggidy Roller Derby turns ten and we plan to celebrate in style.

On Saturday May 2nd Grand Raggidy Roller Derby will play in a double header that begins at 6 p.m. The event begins with the Grand Raggidy Attack facing off against the Deathrow Maidens. Then the Grand Raggidy All Stars will take on the Carolina Rollergirls. This will be the first time Grand Raggidy and Carolina have done battle and both teams are hoping to make a statement. Grand Raggidy is currently ranked 58th and Carolina is ranked 100th.

This game will mark the 10th Anniversary of Grand Raggidy Roller Derby and a celebration is in order. There will be a pre-game tailgate complete a large smoker that will be filled with plenty of burgers, hot dogs and pulled pork. The amazing Bomb Squad will have a number of prizes available to win as well. Grand Raggidy has also sent out invites to all former members of Grand Raggidy Roller Derby so be prepared for a proper reunion. Even Griff from the Grand Rapids Griffins will be on hand to celebrate this momentous occasion.

Doors open at 5 p.m. and the action starts at 6 p.m. But don’t forget to be there at 4 p.m. for the tailgate. It is sure to be an event to remember.
